EcoVida Environmental Efforts:
(1) Participation in Recycling and Composting Programs
(2) Water saving and Energy Efficient Washer and Dryer
(3) Energy Efficient Hot Water Tank
(4) Environmentally Friendly Products used when available
(5) Locally Produced Products used when Environmentally Friendly Products are not available.
(6) The use of harsh cleaning products (Bleach) are minimized as much as possible.
(7) As light bulbs need replacing they are replaced with energy efficient bulbs.
(8) Durable, long lasting tiles are used throughout the condo (Carpeting requires replacement more frequently, new carpeting emits toxic fumes, and carpeting in a tropical climate promotes mold growth).
(9) Water Based Paint used throughout the Condo (More environmentally friendly than solvent-based paints, the release of volatile organic compounds (VOC) is minimized and clean up during painting only requires soap and water, not toxic solvents).
(10) Solar Panels are used to heat the Pool.
